Introduction

At Pro4:Six we believe there is no silver bullet for cybersecurity.  We believe that complexity is the enemy of cybersecurity and simplicity is the key to a solid cybersecurity program.   That is why we base our firm on the five key domains of Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover.  These are not unique, in fact, these are the domains laid out in the National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework.  What is unique is our simplistic and pragmatic interpretation of how to live within these domains.

With this simple model as our guide, the leadership positions we've held, the industries, and the organization sizes we’ve been a part of, we can guide you through all of the cybersecurity needs and concerns.  If you don't know what those concerns are we can help you develop a plan based on your specific risks.

Experience

We have not seen everything, but with over 30 years of experience in various cybersecurity, technology, and business leadership roles, we have seen a lot.  Our exposure spans across every size organization ranging from start-ups with four associates to global enterprises with 70,000+, within a multitude of industries.

We have held leadership roles like the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and the IT Operations lead.  Also, we have been responsible for multiple lines of Business Profit and Loss centers and IT Audit leadership in both internal audit departments and at external consulting firms.

We take advantage of all these experiences to create a completely functional, cohesive, and effective cybersecurity program that considers the full 360 degrees perspective of the organization.  This unique approach tears down objectionable barriers across the environment before they can even begin to form.

Industries

When it comes to industry experience, there are two schools of thought.  The first is that every industry is unique, so if you aren't from that particular industry, you can not possibly understand the business.  The second is, variety and diversity provide omnipotent insights that can be taken advantage of across all sectors.  There are always exceptions, but we tend to agree with the latter philosophy.

We feel that having worked in a variety of different industries provides us the wisdom to bring solutions and viewpoints to you that you may not otherwise realize.  Allow us to deliver the expertise of these industries to your organization.
